Taking a visitor on some favorite hikes.

Harley's (and ours) pal Bernice is visiting and we've spent the last couple of days seeing if she is afraid of heights.  She is, but appropriately.

Spring is very close and the sun is getting hotter - and new wild flowers are emerging.  Today's photos include some of them as well as more of  my fascination at the tenacity of plant life, though I was using a different lens today because I could, so no panoramas...





A crop of the above shot shows a flower growing in 4th hole from the right





 Notice how the plants often run along the seams of limestone which blocks some of the water flowing through the rocks.




 And finally a lizard who was promised a place on the internet if he would stop and pose.
