The cranes, oh my.

 Cranes - galore and then...

An eagle flew over the cranes just as they had pretty much settled in.  I did not have the wide lens with me, nor a tripod, but it is worth watching - on you tube as too big for here.

another a bit later.

The show lasted for several minutes with some bunches of cranes going quite high with others coming in to land relatively quickly.

The 9 snow geese circled and circled, in a very crowded airspace. Ever so often it seemed like they would be engulfed by a larger flock of cranse, but they just flew on - occasionally in formation

The Great Horned Owl was pretty cooperative too even if there was no good way to get an absolutely clear shot.

There are lots of other birds there, lots a ducks in the back, our scope revealed pintails and wigeons  as well as green winged teal and others
