More is being revealed.

The other day while waiting for prescriptions to be filled we took a ride to Montezuma's Well - an enormous artisan well where water which has been percolating through rocks for 10,000 years emerges.  There are some indian ruins and information on a very interesting ecosystem - (the water is filled with carbon dioxide and arsenic and supports a community of unique creatures)

Then yesterday, I deliberately left the camera at home, just because I could.

Today though I picked it up again for a jaunt  up the "Jim Thompson" trail which heads up Oak Creek Canyon well above a road we have driven a bunch of times.  It was a splendid hike, new, to us, rocks, views, and for a Sunday especially relatively few people.
