Roadrunners and gravity

Roadrunners are very cool, they eat all sorts of dangerous critters including small rattlesnakes and scorpions - and a couple of them seem to live in our neighborhood.

 why you don't see them

One thing about roadrunners is they don't fly much, they can, after a fashion, but do so rarely - which brings me to the next topic Gravity.

I rented a pickup truck and set off for back of beyond and ended up falling down this canyon, bouncing more precisely and because I ended up upside down in a tree it had a painful but happy ending.

But before that a remote road which Shelley refuses to ride on which I had hoped would take me to a ghost town, but it seems to be on private property - something they take seriously here.

 Look Ma no guardrails
 This says a lot.

This is the outcropping I was trying to get to.
Another shot of the canyon I want to get back to when I heal.
As best as I can make out his name was Tom West   B 1970 D 1989
Hard to read but his nickname was "goodtime"
