Today was a hike up to the shrine on top of Youngblood hill which over looks the city. It was a bit more vertical than Shelley was ready for and of the loose scree type she likes not so much; so Harley and I went without her.
It is steep - if one flaps their arms and makes hi pitched keening sounds they can pretend to be a hawk.

All faiths, or lack there of, seem to be represented.
In the afternoon I went on a tour of the mine and re positioned not having been a miner to the top 3 of my gratitude list. There are 2400 miles of mine tunnels under this town.
