Winding down, well not really but

There are things on the want-to-do list which are coming to the top of the queue.

Today was a hike up to the shrine on top of Youngblood hill which over looks the city.  It was a bit more vertical than Shelley was ready for and of the loose scree type she likes not so much; so Harley and I went without her.

It is steep - if one flaps their arms and makes hi pitched keening sounds they can pretend to be a hawk.

 Loose scree

All faiths, or lack there of, seem to be represented.

In the afternoon I went on a tour of the mine and re positioned not having been a miner to the top 3 of my gratitude list.  There are 2400 miles of mine tunnels under this town.

The open pit mine was relatively recent, though it closed in the '70s

Head of a shaft way up, way back.
