Even the mundane 

is amazing.

Starting with a moon in the morning

and yes I was too lazy to go and find a place where 

it was over a rock formation

so I did this

Got a good geology book yesterday, the white bands are larger grained limestone where the iron oxide has leached out because they are more porous..

And then there is the dog park!

and trails

 an unlimited supply of tennis balls

The other day there was a woman at the dog park who was reminiscing about the years when she had a 160 pound wolf which she had been given as a young pup, told that it was a husky.   She soon learned differently.  It was quite a tail. 

"I was the alpha-female and learned not to make a lot of rules, so it worked out."

Finding the amazing in mundane is easy here, but is not such a bad ambition where-ever.
